I’ve been using Visualping to detect new books being added to Netgalley for advanced copies of books from my favorite authors and found it to be really helpful. Instead of checking every day or whenever I remember, it instead will email when the page updates, letting me focus on other things but still be up to date when I can read an advanced copy from a favorite author.

For example, for a new book by Tad Williams I can set up a job like this:

At first I thought of setting up a script or something more complicated but this site works well and is pretty low effort to set up and maintain and seems to work really well, I got notified of the new Richard Swan ARC the day it was added.
